Safari Add Ons

I love using Firefox, but I recently discovered this website called Pimp My Safari that has turned my on to good 'ol Safari once more. I'm surprised I never knew about all these add ons before. It's too bad Apple doesn't promote them like Firefox does with their add ons.

Video Game Trading Made Easy

Goozex is a dream come true for my kids. We just discovered it and have not made our first trade yet, but they sure are excited. You list games you don't want and earn points when you ship it out to the person requesting it. You then can save your points for a game you want at a higher point value or get a game right away if you can find one for the same or less points than you earned on the game you just shipped out. It only costs $1.00 per game you get and shipping. Goozex gives you 100 points to start with and first $1 trade credit.

Lasik Good Enough For Me

remember when I was younger I knew some boys who wanted to be Air-Force pilots, but they had vision that did not allow them to fly. Glasses for correction of eyesight was not enough when it came to such important tasks. The correction of eyesight has come a long way since then. Both the military and NASA are using laser technology to correct these problems now. Using LASIK technology increases the military and NASA personnel’s ability to perform sight sensitive tasks. The Department of Defense and NASA use lasik and have stated that it “exceeds all established standards of safety and effectiveness” per retired U.S. Navy captain Steven Schallhorn, M.D.

Lasik has now been improved and is called iLasik. iLasik uses two lasers instead of one. They first map using advance wave-front technology. Then a very fast laser guided by a computer makes a corneal flap. Then the second laser corrects the vision of the eye. With the advance mapping and the use of two lasers make this a customized procedure.

The military has kept track of the results of modern lasik procedures. Out of 100 military personnel 95% ended up having 20/20 vision or even better after having the procedure. Of the ones asked 100% of naval aviator would recommend it to other naval aviators. Click here for more LASIK information.
